Brave Translator

My name is Marina Firsova. I was born on the 17th of September, 1979 in Russia.

I live in Saint-Petersburg and I consider this Russian city to be one of the greatest world treasures. I highly recommend you to visit it in summer during our “white nights”.

However my favourite city is Paris. It is my first visit in Paris that has made me learn French. I like Hemingway’s words that Paris is a “holiday that is always with you”. That’s absolutely 100 per cent true!

But let’s return to our muttons. As for my high education, in 2001 I graduated from Saint-Petersburg State University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics http://www.ifmo.ru/eng/ with the diploma in economics. A bit later I got my second diploma in translation in Saint-Petersburg State University http://www.spbu.ru/e/ .

Now I am working in the private company as a translator and looking for work as a freelancer.
